All fired up

This is me running/suffering in the heat yesterday. All this humidity is causing me to have some serious Einstein hair these days. There is no glamour in this running thing right now. The news reported that the heat index was as high as 107 yesterday. Surely that had to be when I was out running...

I made it out to the trail this morning as planned! It is amazing that 79 degrees felt "cool"; it is nice to be able to breathe while running. Good little run today. Yay.

By the way, in my drawing, the running surface is supposed to be a very menacing fire, but it doesn't really look like it...I know.
